Perryville Missouri, Sept 29, 2020

We travel from Hannibal to Perryville Missouri, keeping to our 200 miles in a weekend.  Perryville Campground was a nice little campground off of Highway 61.   Very friendly staff, they were preparing for a Halloween Haunted House, so they told us to just pick a spot and take care of the fees in the morning.   We had a nice spot close to the small lake they have there.  We met a very nice couple that were staying in the cabin for the weekend who loved dogs so our girls went and sat with us while we chatted with them.   This was our first interaction with people with the dogs so it was a bit challenging.   But we eventually got things all settled down and those people were so great.

Lesson learned?  Watch what the dogs are picking up, Tanna actually picked up a discarded fish hook luckily we noticed and averted disaster or a trip to the Vet Emergency.

We did continue our Rib Tour here, We choose Double Barrel BBQ, we liked the name, the ribs were good but not great to the point where I couldn’t remember the name of the place we got them and had to google.
